Dear family & friends,
Can you spot all seven Wilcox’s in this photo? Yes, even Zac is home (from USA) to visit us in Thailand for 6 weeks. We are amongst our BNJ family, mums and kids, we managed to get everyone in the same place at the same time, which doesn’t happen too often; not when there is a camera available anyway!!
Last week we welcomed one other mum who is HIV+ into our family, she is about to give birth to her first baby. Sadly, she has been a sex-worker in Pattaya for 10 years but now is coming (permanently we hope) to live with us, so we are blessed to have our family grow by two more. Please pray for us all and for Waan, our newest mum, as she makes this adjustment and gives birth very soon. Jaci and Moi (one of our staff) are taking the responsibility of primarily caring for Waan.
Malaysia was an interesting and beneficial experience. My pain is somewhat less and I am sleeping better. I continue to be motivated to implement the life-style changes that I learnt about at the health retreat and that I believe will continue to help, however it is God who heals! I trust Him! I will be so blessed if you continue to pray for me and us all….
“God, I ask You would make me what I should be in the very presence of my calamities; to live amid them, as long as they last, in the consciousness that I am held and sheltered by You, and can therefor remain in the midst of them.” (my paraphrase from Streams in the Desert)
In case we don’t write again before Christmas…… we trust you have a happy and fun time with family and friends. Remember Jesus!
love,
Penny for the whole family (Paul, Luke, Pe, Jaci, Zac, and Caleb)
